Hi, it's me -- Zachary! I wanted to do a segment in this project about my own research, which most recently has centered around the past grocery stores of Worcester. And what better way to learn the history of a city than through its mom-and-pop grocery stores, serving as community meeting places?

I like to call this work "grocery archaeology," which is also the name of a website I write. You can see that and my other grocery projects here!
